Kaua'i Gallery 1
Aerial Photographs of Kaua'i
The following twenty
images were taken on a 90 minute helicopter tour of the
island (6-5-98) offered by Jack Harter Helicopters,
the originator of helicopter
tours on Kaua'i. This tour is available to all
visitors and is highly recommended.

Leaving
Lihue Airport, the tree tunnel on the road to Koloa can be seen in the
distance.
The falls used in "Jurassic Park," on private
property accessible only by helicopter.
A rainbow appears in one of
the many lush and largely inaccessible valleys on the island.
Turning north towards the Napali Coast,
Polihale Beach is visible to the south.
A bird's eye view of the surrealistic landscape of the "Cathedrals" area
of the Napali Coast.
The first sweeping view of the ruggedly
beautiful Napali Coast, home of towering
sea cliffs, hidden waterfalls, secluded
valleys, and sea caves such as this "topless" one.
Another view down the Napali ("the cliffs")
Coast, an area of incomparable beauty
which
can only be accessed by helicopter, boat, or a very difficult hiking trail.
The pristine waters off the coast of Kaua'i,
home to the endangered Green Sea
Turtle & Hawaiian Monk Seal,
Humpback Whales, Dolphins, and various species of fish.
A tour boat heads down the Napali Coast,
offering breathtaking coastline views.
A
first look down the lush north shore with it's protective offshore reefs,
fertile valleys,
and picture-perfect beaches. Here we get
a final look down the Napali Coast
followed by an overhead view of Ke'e
Beach, familiar as "Bali Hai" in "South Pacific".
Another view of the Ke'e and Ha'ena beach
area, with the cliffs of Napali beyond.
The
coral reefs in this area provide for some of the best snorkeling on the
island.
Lumahai Beach, framed by the majestic
mountains of Kaua'i, served as "Nurses
Beach" in "South Pacific." Hanalei
Bay, seen here, is a popular destination on the
north shore. A pass over Wailua Falls,
accessible by car, completes the tour.

Enough with Kaua'i already; I want to choose a
new
destination.
.
Your web site sucks; where can I see some good
porn?
.
Excuse me, but the information
in this gallery is not accurate.
