Rage Against the Machine take the stage and play a short set to an enthusiastic but well-behaved crowd of 7,000-10,000. At least half the crowd are there for the free concert and likely have no idea of the politics involved. A concerted effort has obviously been made to make the conditions as uncomfortable as possible for attendees, with no rest rooms to be found and water in very short supply on a blisteringly hot day. Nevertheless, the proceedings are - especially by rock concert standards - extremely orderly and there is a festive mood about the protest pit.        NEXT >>>>>>
